pesterchum is a message client that is a replica of the IRC chat the webcomic used. for as nonsensical it can be its light weight and customizeable to make it my faveorite messageing app

HOW TO USE PESTERCHUM:

browser only version here pesterchum.online

easiest thing is to go to the website! no email asked for.

• type in a temporary username (must have one capital letter in the middle of the name, no spaces, all other letters lowercase)
• click the big connect button
• click on the chums tab right next to memos and find my name (vexHex)
• go to the tab above the chat box and click my name (vexHex) then write a message in the small rectangle below.
• click send and wait for me to write back!

type in a temporary username (it must have one capital letter somewhere in the middle and be all lowercase) and just scroll through the userlist of "chums" until you find my name (vexHex) then click when you see it! if i am not on the userlist that means i am not online so just give it some time. if i am online you will see a chat box appear above with tabs to change from the main group chat to my own direct message. there is no send button to click just click enter and your fine. this is a browser application so that means phones will not have any problems but because you have a temporary username per session that means you cant add people to a friends list or what have you, so just so long as you have my username you wont lose me but i might have a hard time tracking you down.
